Title: Reflections on Strategic and Operational Decision-Making: Insights from Simulation and the Role of Generative AI

In this assignment, students will reflect on their experience in the operations management simulation game and analyse the strategic and operational decisions their team made. They will evaluate the rationale behind those decisions, assess their outcomes, and suggest improvements. They will also explore how Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) could support certain aspects of their operations management decision-making process. At the end, they must compare their own analysis with the aid that they have received from AI and reflect on their learning in the whole process.
