Module Assignment (Reflective Portfolio)

 

 

Please complete two reflective templates (part 1 and 2) which will form your porVolio evidence of your application of the A-EQUIP model when carrying out restorative clinical supervision (RCS) in your PNA role. Two different reflections will be presented, using a template. You will be awarded one mark for both part 1 and 2 reflections.

 

PART 1: Please identify a PA restorative clinical supervision session that you have undertaken or shadowed and reflect on the communication styles adopted as well as the ethical, professional, and/ or the personal issues that you identified and managed. This can be an individual, peer or a RCS group session (1250 words).

 

Consider the following module learning outcomes when writing your reflection:

 

1.       Critically appraise the role of the PA in creating an environment for cultural change.

 

2.       Demonstrate and apply advanced communication methods to promote the quality of the restorative clinical supervision process considering a multitude of ethical, legal, professional, and personal issues.

3.       Critically explore, synthesise, and apply the A-EQUIP model to utilise enhanced leadership skills in professional advocacy.

Interpretation: What was important, useful, relevant to note. This discussion should be extensively supported via the citation of theory, literature, research (850 words minimum).

 

 

 

 

Outcome: What you learnt from the experience and how you might develop future practice. Summarise concisely any synthesise, analysis and critical evaluations and when appropriate support these with literature, policy, research (approx. 200 words).

Part 2: Please identify and propose a quality improvement that came about following one of your PA restorative clinical supervision sessions or by supporting teams in your PA role and reflect on how compassionate and resilient leadership was used to support quality improvement or development. (1250 words).

      Demonstrate and critically reflect how professional advocacy skills can promote safe practice decision making and enhance health and wellbeing via compassionate and resilient leadership.
